Tsutenkaku Symbol of Osaka
In December 2020, I went to Tsutenkaku, a tower that symbolizes Osaka. Tsutenkaku is located in Shinsekai, a city like the inside of a toy box, and introduces the towering Tsutenkaku with a unique structure.
Tsutenkaku Entrance (entrance fee)
The entrance to Tsutenkaku is directly below Tsutenkaku, there is a ticket office when you go down the stairs to the basement, the entrance fee is 800 yen, and an additional 500 yen is required to go to the special outdoor observatory. Tickets for the special outdoor observatory can also be purchased at the information counter on the 5th floor, and the admission ticket design is cute with the image of an Osaka train and a loop line.
Tsutenkaku B1 floor
On the first basement floor of Tsutenkaku, there are souvenirs, the world-famous Nissin chicken ramen shop, and the famous confectionery maker Glico shop, and there are also limited items that can only be bought here.
Tsutenkaku 5th floor
If you buy a ticket on the 1st basement floor, you will be guided to the 2nd floor and then to the 5th floor by elevator. The 5th floor of Tsutenkaku is called the Golden Observatory. The height of the 5th floor observatory is 87.5m. , You can see the city of Osaka here as well
Billiken
Billiken is a statue of a god of luck in the shape of a child with a pointed head and raised eyes. Florence Pretz of the United States obtained a design patent on October 6, 1908. In Osaka, it is known as “Billiken-san”. It is said that there is a benefit to touching the soles of Billiken’s feet.
