Omiwa Shrine Nara
Omiwa Shrine is time I will talk about when I went to Omiwa Shrine, which is one of the oldest shrines in Japan, located in Nara.
Ōmiwa Shrine (Ōmiwa-jinja), also known as Miwa Shrine ( Miwa-jinja, alternately written as Miwa-myōjin , is a Shinto shrine located in Sakurai, Nara Prefecture, Japan.[1] The shrine is noted because it contains no sacred images or objects because it is believed to serve Mount Miwa, the mountain on which it stands.[2] For the same reason, it has a worship hall ( haiden), but no place for the deity to be housed ( shinden). In this sense, it is a model of what the first Shinto shrines were like.[3] Ōmiwa Shrine is one of the oldest extant Shinto shrines in Japan and the site has been sacred ground for some of the earliest religious practices in Japan. Because of this, it has sometimes been named as Japan’s first shrine. Ōmiwa Shrine is a tutelary shrine of the Japanese sake brewers.[4]

Climb to Mt. Miwa
Since ancient times, Mt. Miwa has been a sacred mountain where the gods calm down, and entry to the mountain has been strictly restricted as a forbidden mountain.
Unlike hiking, the purpose is to “worship” and you cannot take pictures.
