The ancient capital of Kyoto, which is popular in Japan and the world
I’ve been in a difficult world these days and I can’t go to my favorite places, but I’m going to write an article for people who wanted to visit Kyoto even a little.
The place I visited this time is Kamigamo Shrine
Kamigamo Shrine (Kamigamo Jinja) is an important Shinto sanctuary on the banks of the Kamo River in north Kyoto, first founded in 678.[1] Its formal name is the Kamo-wakeikazuchi Shrine (Kamo-wakeikazuchi jinja).[2]
Wikipedia
It is an old shrine built in the 6th century AD.
As you enter, there is another big torii gate.
Kamigamo Shrine Shrine precincts
This shrine has a large site, a stream flowing through it, and good air. It is one of the oldest shrines in Kyoto with a long history and many temples and shrines. It’s a little far from Shijo and Gion in Sohua Town, but it’s only one hour away by city bus.
Please look forward to the next time・・・
